Perfect Harmony
Moored at Huntingdon

11th May '13

Totally cream crackered! 9hrs. 9 miles, 36 locks and 6 swing bridges! Plus a rubbish mooring with gangplank.

On the bright side, Graham and Valerie were total stars seeing us down almost all of the Caen Locks, only leaving us as Paul, Rachel, Steve and Louise arrived. Steve had never worked a lock before, but valiantly shared the load with John for all the rest.

It's thrown everything at us weather wise. Occasional sunshine, occasional showers and constant strong winds.

We are moored near where the others are camping, so looking forward to another evening with friends before moving on, very gradually, through to Bristol over the next 10 days or so.

Will add pictures when I'm on the computer, but have just got the iPad out for tonight. No energy for more.
